The subject of scuba equipment maintenance is a vitally important one if the field of diving education. Using scuba equipment that has been neglected or improperly maintained may be increasing the risk of diving accidents. By Learning how to care for all types of diving equipment and their components, from simplest O-ring to something as complex as your regulator. Each year numerous diving excursions are upset by last minute equipments malfunctions, by a lack of spare parts form field repairs, or simply by a lack of basic knowledge concerning the operation of scuba equipment. Prerequisite:

Must be 12 years of age or older. Must be a certified Open Water diver. If you have your own regulator and BCD, we suggest you bring them. Course Fee: $45.00 (Does not include text book)

Scuba Equipment Care & Maintenance and/or The Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving.

This is a one day class. 8:00 - 12:00 Orientation & registration Subjects: mask, fin, snorkel, wet/dry suits 12:00 - 1:00 LUNCH 1:00 - 6:00
