Upcoming Trips:

Our second dive trip of the year was a great time for all. On saturday moring we drove down to Portage Quarry. The weather was like here in Michigan, it changed every 30 minutes, wind, rain, sleet snow. The visibility was about 4 feet, water temp was 52 degrees. Everyone had at least 1 dive in when Doug came back up and said "I have found the lear jet", so John & Ryan went back in with Doug to see it. Shortly after they got back we headed down to Gilboa Quarry. On Sunday morning we split up into 2 groups. The first group went in off the deep dock, while the second group wnt in on the shallow side. The visibilty was about 70 feet, water temp 52 degress again. Everyone had a fun time feeding the fish, and had at least 2 dives in before it was time to head for home. Over all it was a great weekend. Some of our upcoimng trips are: Striats of Mackinaw, White Fish Pointe, and dont forget our 1st Hotdog Cookout of the season on May 26. You can find more information on our trips & classes on the Calendar web page.

Going to a nice warm spot for The Summer or Staying Home here in Michigan?

Start your certification before you go and finish it in the nice warm water while on vacation.

Many of you are planning a nice vacation in the Islands or Mexico. You can complete your Open Water class through the PADI e-learning sytem. After completing the class you will schedule with us to complete the pool portion of the certification.

At this point you can take a letter from us with you on vacation. While there simply schedule your four open water dives with a local PADI training center. Most resorts have an instruction on staff or an affiliation with a local training center. Your four open water dives will complete your training and, at the same time, allow you to see a whole new world.
